Otis's Birthday!

This weekend is Otis's 5th birthday. Well, we don't know exactly when he was born but it is when we adopted him. We adopted Otis from the Fort Collins Cat Shelter. After loosing our first cat four years prior to that day, we decided it was time to adopt a new cat. There were tons of different cats all in this tiny shelter. After much time of looking none of them really spoke to us until we found Guapo. The lady working there explained that guapo is Spanish for handsome.The moment we saw his face we knew that he was the one. Two days later we adopted Otis. Otis is a great cat and we will always love him. 

Today my aunt, uncle, and two cousins are coming to visit. Now you may ask, what does this have anything to do with Otis? Well, they are bringing their dog! Remember Otis's last experience with a dog! This will be a rather interesting experience.

This blog is all about my cat Otis. He is a large tabby that is around eight years old. I will post updates on what he does and new outbreaks in the cat world. Today he actually got into a fight with a dog! He owned his ground and scared it away. He didn't get hurt but I'm sure the dog did!
